How often am I able to get in touch with my coach?

How long is a piece of string? Here at team gazelle running we like to keep an open channel of communication as much as we can.

Avenues for communication include sms, phone call, email, or messenger/instagram. We also use the TrainingPeaks comment section.

How is training delivered?

Here at team gazelle running we use TrainingPeaks as our training app of choice.

This apps basic features far out class any other available app. The TrainingPeaks tracks training loads as well as links your sports watches to your sessions and allows for seamless communication between coach and athlete.

Do I need to be at a certain athletic level to train with team gazelle
running?

No, the team gazelle running programs are individualised to you. We look at all aspects of you to make a program that suits you.

This includes training age, biological age, current fitness, injury history, work life balance and your own personal and running related goals!

Am I locked in to a contract when I start with team gazelle?

No, we do not believe in contracts here at team gazelle running. 

We believe that both the coach and the athlete need to work together on all levels, if that is not working or things in your life change we want to see you move in a positive direction.

However, we do request that you give us fair warning if you are wishing to move on. For us that is 2 weeks notice.

What do I need to do to start with team gazelle running?

Firstly, reach out and have a conversation with us.


If you think we are suited to working together we will ask you to fill out a pre-screen and also a goal setting sheet.


After this we will get to work on our individualised program for you.

Can I alter training based off any changes to my work or life or racing schedule?

Yes, you can. The beauty of having reliable and open communication is that we can change the program on the fly to best fit you.

If one week your work hours have change, or you become sick we can modify training to suit what you need at that time.

The old saying "If you don't ask, the answer will always be no" rings true here.
